  • When you are ready to book, fill out the inquiry form in the contact section of the website. Then, I will reach out to you via email or phone number to confirm your information, answer any questions, and confirm any design/customization requests. You can choose to pay your deposit then or when you drop the flowers off.

Then, during the week of your wedding, I will reach back out to you to set up a meeting location and time that works for both of us! I’ll take the flowers, do my thing, and reach back out when they’re ready! You can pay the remaining balance then or any time before I get the frame back to you!

  • The full time you can expect the process to take is around 6 weeks. Once we pick up your wedding bouquet, we carefully take it apart and put the flowers through a multi-step drying process. This process usually takes about a week. Then, your flowers are transitioned into a flower press where they will stay for around 3-4 weeks to flatten. Once they are taken out of the press they are ready to frame and get returned to you!

  • We try our best to press every flower from your bouquet. There are some flowers we are still working on perfecting and others that simply cannot not be pressed (but don’t worry, it isn’t too many)

    • Sunflowers: We are really close to perfecting the drying process of sunflowers. If you look through our pictures, you will see a few frames with them. If you have sunflowers in your bouquet we will try our hardest to include them. However, sometimes the base of the sunflower is still too thick after pressing, but we will keep you updated on the status of them!

    • Seeded eucalyptus: We love the look of seeded eucalyptus. However, the seeds will never flatten. We use the leaves in the frame but must remove the seeds

    • Cymbidium orchids: These are another flower that we are still working on perfecting the process for. We are close, but cymbidium orchids have a really high water content and turn really dark in the press.

    • Anything with thick stems or a full, thick base. We have come across a lot of beautiful local wild flowers that ultimately couldn’t be used because of how hardy they were. We will try as hard as we can to make them work. We can also package and return any flowers like this for you to have loose upon request

  • We love the idea of personalizing orders to fit your vision and personality. While the three sizes we offer are great base frames, you can always mix and match combinations of the sizes. We can also add smaller frames (8x10 or 6x8) onto one of the base frames to create a set.

We can also create frames that display flowers with a wedding invitation or a picture in the center. This is best suited for a 12x12 or 11x14 and can make a great gift for a parent, sibling, or friend as well. The possibilities are endless and we would be happy to help you make your vision a reality!

  • Yes and no. Right now, we are specializing in only in person pick ups and drop offs. We only offer this for a few reasons: There is a lot of room for error in shipping live flowers through the mail. I’ve heard horror stories about them getting lost or ruined in transit and New England weather is so unpredictable, there’s a lot of worry involved in the flowers freezing in the winter or being in sweltering heat/humidity in the summer. In person pick ups allow the most controlled environment for your flowers to thrive. In addition, in person pick ups and drop offs allow us to keep costs as low as we can. Overnighting fresh flowers through priority mail, as well as the safety measures necessary to return your frame can be very expensive, and there will always be a chance of damage using shipping agencies. Therefore, with in person deliveries we can assure that your flowers are safest when they go from our hands directly back to yours!

So, if you are in the tristate area but not in CT and would like to make the drive, we’d be happy to find a place within the state to meet up with you. Or if you have friends or family who live in the state, we can definitely coordinate with them!

  • As long as you take care of your frame, your flowers should last forever! However, please note that flowers are living, natural things and will probably fade/change over time, but will still be a beautiful memory of your special day!

To keep your flowers looking great, we recommend that you keep them out of direct sunlight. Do not keep them in places that get overly warm or humid. If you need to travel with your frame (i.e. move) try not to keep them in a hot car.

  • Every single flower is different and will age in its own way, or not at all! Here’s what we do know:

    • white flowers will almost always antique in some way. To prevent this, they need to be taken very good care of before we get them. Ask your florist to use the freshest roses in their lot. Try not to have them exposed to heat during your wedding day. Keep them in water as long as you possibly can.

    • Pastel flowers tend to fade and lose their color over time

    • Some flowers change color throughout the drying process. Red roses turn a dark maroon, many orange roses turn yellow, pink roses sometimes fade to a cream or lavender, lavender roses turn a beautiful dusty mauve

Color changing and flower aging is such a fascinating part of the process and I would be more than happy to talk about what you can expect with your specific flowers, just ask!

  • Yes! We will work with any bouquet, including all white bouquets. However, please be mindful that white flowers are extremely fragile and, more likely than not, will not be as white pressed in their frame as they were the day of your wedding. The majority of white flowers will look cream or an antique white. You can also expect them to continue to fade and potentially brown over time.
